Who we are
This website (dotbold.co.uk) is run by Bold Marketing, a business growth agency based in Manchester, UK. When this policy says “we” or “us” it means Bold Marketing. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@dotbold.co.uk.
What we collect
When you fill in our enquiry form we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, the service you are interested in, your budget range and any message you write. We also record which page of our website you sent the form from.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may also log basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal or quote.
- To follow up about the services you asked about.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you.
We use your details because you have asked us to contact you (consent) and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your permission.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. Your details are stored on our website and email systems, which are provided by trusted hosting and email providers who process data on our behalf. We only share your information with others if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up on your enquiry, or for longer if you become a client and we need them to deliver our services. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work properly, such as keeping forms secure. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, email hello@dotbold.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
